GENERAL
DESCRIPTIONS
Many dancers share a common difficulty, the ability to
hear and understand the instructor clearly. The Williams
Personal Listening System can help those who need
auditory assistance to overcome background noise,
reverberation, or distance from the sound source.
Essentially,
the system is a small radio station. The transmitter is
connected to the sound source and the signal is received
by a pocket size receiver. Any number of receivers can be
used in the hall, each with it's own volume control. Several types of earphones are
available as well as a TeleCoil Neckloop to use with
hearing aids equipped with a "T" switch.
Because the system is wireless, listeners are free to
dance anywhere on the floor, not just in front of a
speaker.
Value Pack PPA VA System, T27
Transmitter, 4 R35 Receivers, Ch E
-- Square
Dancing Primary Frequency 72.9 MHZ
Note: The Personal PA Value Pack System is
approved by the FCC for operation in U.S. markets.
The Personal PA™ Value Pack System broadcasts a
speaker’s voice, music program, or audio service
wirelessly up to 500 feet to a listening audience.
Participants wear the R35 single-channel
receiver (included in PPA PV system) equipped with headset to pick up
the broadcast to listen at the volume of their
comfort level. The R35-8 multi channel receiver, or
any FM receiver operating on 72-76 MHz frequency to
pick up the broadcast can also be used. The cornerstone of the PPA VP systems
is the T27 transmitter; it features an LED
display panel and push button channel selection for
easy operation. The unit can connect
to a sound system through a line-level (RCA) jack to
broadcast music, voice, or other audio signal. The PPA VP has seventeen available
channels, and operates on 72-76 MHz. Each PPA VP
system includes (4) R35 receivers and meets ADA
requirements for hearing assistance.
The stylish, impact-resistant R35 single-channel
receiver is compatible with any Williams Sound
Personal PA transmitter operating on the 72-76 MHz
bandwidth. It features a volume control/on/off dial,
earphone jack and LED power indicator. It uses 2 AA
batteries. It is field tunable using a small plastic
screwdriver.
